Physical Properties

Solubility:

Easily soluble in water, ethanol, and propylene glycol.

Slightly soluble in organic solvents such as benzene and diethyl ether.
 

Chemical Properties

Reaction with Acids: Can react with acids to form corresponding triisopropanolamine salts.

Esterification: Can react with fatty acids to form esters, such as triisopropanolamine stearate, which are commonly used as emulsifiers and lubricants.

Reaction with Isocyanates: Can react with isocyanates to form carbamates, used in the production of polyurethane materials.

Applications

Cement Grinding Aids: Improves grinding efficiency and significantly enhances the late strength of cement. The dosage range is broad, typically between 0.001% and 0.2%.

Fiber Industry: Used as a refining agent, wetting agent, antistatic agent, and dyeing assistant.

Metal Industry: Acts as an antioxidant and a component in cutting coolants.

Polyurethane Industry: Used as a crosslinker and initiator.
 

Packaging and Storage

Packaging:Available in tank trucks, plastic drums (200L/drum), ISOtank, IBC barrel.

Storage:

Seal during transportation to prevent collisions, sun exposure, and rain.

Store in a clean, dry, cool, and well-ventilated area, away from fire sources.
