Applications

● PEG-200 serves as a medium for organic synthesis and a high-demand heat carrier. It is used as a humectant, inorganic salt solubilizer, and viscosity modifier in daily chemical industry. It is also used as a softener and antistatic agent in the textile industry, as well as a wetting agent in papermaking and agrochemical industries.

● PEG-400 and PEG-600 are used as substrates for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, as well as lubricants and wetting agents in the rubber and textile industries. PEG-600, when added to electrolytes in the metal industry, enhances grinding efficiency and improves the gloss of metal surfaces.
